For practicing health professionals, the H-GEC offers discipline specific modules for nurses and physicians.

Nurses are provided with 3 hours of self-paced learning on elder abuse and neglect. If all modules are completed, nurses are eligible for 3 hours of CNE; or individual modules may be taken for 1 hour of CNE each. Modules include: Introduction to Elder Mistreatment, Interviewing a Possible Victim or Perpetrator of Elder Abuse; and Self and Caregiver Neglect.
