The H-GEC offers a variety of opportunities for health professional faculty to engage in strengthening their abilities to teach about vulnerable elders. A 40 hour online course in Elder Abuse and Neglect is available; this program is self-paced and if completed successfully, a certificate of completion is awarded. Alternatively, faculty may take selected portions of the course. A variety of resources and references are available from the H-GEC website to further facilitate learning.
Modules in Disaster Preparedness, Caregiver Stress and Burnout, Health Literacy and Tips for Teaching About Elder Abuse are also available.
